Virus Battle ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

By using Virus Battle, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Information collected automatically

• Unique account identifier (automatically generated when installing the app)
• Game progress data: collected viruses, battle results, achievements, coins, and gameplay statistics
• Basic device information: device type, operating system version, and timezone
• Device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), used by our advertising network — see the "Advertising" section

Information you provide voluntarily

• Username (customizable)
• Apple or Google sign-in information if you choose to link your account (we only receive an identifier, not your password)

Information we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your real name, address, phone number, or email (unless you link your account with Apple/Google)
• We do not collect your precise geographic location
• We do not collect information from your contacts or device content
• We do not collect payment information — all transactions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store

How We Use Your Information

• Operate and maintain your game account and progress
• Match players in PvP battles and maintain leaderboards
• Improve the gaming experience and game balance
• Send game-related notifications (if you allow them)
• Prevent fraud, cheating, and system abuse

Storage and Security

Your data is securely stored on Supabase servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

We retain your information as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you can contact us.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share limited data with our advertising provider, Google AdMob, as described in the "Advertising" section.

Your username and battle statistics are publicly visible on in-game leaderboards.

We may share information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Advertising

Virus Battle shows optional, rewarded advertising through Google AdMob. This advertising is voluntary: it is only shown when you actively choose to watch it in exchange for an in-game reward (extra coins, capsules, etc.). We never show forced ads, persistent banners, or interstitials without your consent.

To show relevant advertising, Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process:

• Your device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android)
• Technical device information (model, operating system, language, and approximate location derived from IP)
• Your interactions with the ads (impressions, clicks, and whether you completed the ad)

On iOS devices we will ask for your explicit permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency system before any tracking. In Europe and other GDPR-covered regions, we will show a Google consent form before loading personalized ads; you may choose non-personalized ads with no penalty.

You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Children's Privacy

Virus Battle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.
